In order for our STARSkaters to practice effectively and prepare for upcoming competitions and tests, they need people to play music for them. In an effort to be fair, we ask each parent of a STARSkater to share, equally, in playing the music for their skater’s sessions.
The Music Chair is responsible for preparing the Music Schedule for the Senior, Junior and Intro to STARSkate levels. Should you be unable to fulfill your duties, on the date that you are scheduled, it is your responsibility to contact an alternate on the list that is provided to you. If you do not show up for your shift and you do not make alternate arrangements, the Club will automatically cash the first of the $50.00 cheques, held as a Music Deposit. Failure to show for a second, scheduled shift will result in the cashing of the second $50.00 cheque. Please remember that we are ALL volunteers, with busy lives and other commitments and we are relying on you to do your part.
All Music volunteers will be instructed in the use of the equipment and the procedures to be followed. In addition, instructions may be found in the “Music Book”, located in the Club Office, next to the Music Equipment. We thank you for your support.
A note to all Music volunteers: A list of names and contact information for all music volunteers is available in the Club’s Office. Please make sure that you have a list of these names and numbers at your home / office. It is YOUR responsibility to find a replacement; NOT the Music Chair’s.
